• Consultation intake details: hair type, scalp concerns, routine, goals
• Photos you upload to My Crown AI for hair/scalp analysis
• Messages you send through forms, email, or chat

Information collected automatically: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and cookies (see Section 7).

2. How We Use Your Information

• Deliver the products and services you purchased
• Process payments and send receipts
• Provide customer support
• Send order confirmations and service-related emails
• Send marketing emails (only with your consent — unsubscribe anytime)

3. My Crown AI Photo Analysis — Special Notice

My Crown AI analyzes photos of your hair and scalp so you can track progress over time. Here's exactly how those photos are handled:

• Photos are sent securely to our AI analysis providers (Google Gemini and/or OpenAI) solely for the purpose of generating your analysis.
• Photos are never used to train third-party AI models. Our provider agreements prohibit training on customer content.
• Photos are never sold or shared with third parties for advertising, marketing, or any purpose beyond generating your report.
• Photos are stored in your private member vault so you can view your scan history and track progress. Only you and Valerie can see them.
• Photos are automatically purged 30 days after account deletion.
• You can request immediate deletion of your photos and scan data at any time — see Section 6. Requests are processed within 7 business days.

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with: our payment processor, email service provider, AI analysis providers (Google Gemini and OpenAI, for scan processing only), analytics provider, and legal authorities when required by law.

5. Data Retention

• Account and purchase records: 7 years (tax/accounting)
• Consultation notes: 3 years or until you request deletion
• My Crown AI photos and scans: kept in your private vault while your account is active; purged 30 days after account deletion or on immediate request
• Marketing subscribers: until you unsubscribe

5a. Immediate Data Deletion Requests

Members can request immediate deletion of their photos and scan data at any time. Sign in and use the "Request data deletion" button in your account, or email us. We confirm receipt within 1 business day and complete the deletion within 7 business days.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or port your data, and to opt out of marketing. To exercise these rights, email us. We respond within 30 days.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA) have the rights above plus the right to non-discrimination. EU/UK residents (GDPR): our legal bases are contract, consent, legitimate interests, and legal obligation.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies (required), analytics cookies (optional), and marketing cookies (only with consent). You can disable cookies in your browser; some features may not work properly.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults (18+). We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

9. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption, secure cloud hosting, encrypted password storage, and limited internal access. No method is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data.
